We welcome strong links between home and school. A positive partnership helps us all better understand and support the needs of our students. We try hard to ensure that our communication is clear and useful. We also recognise that different people will want contacting in different ways, and as long as expectations remain reasonable we will always strive to do our best to meet such needs. Due to the nature of our student's needs it can be difficult to find out what they have been up to at school and if any parent has any concerns please do not hesitate to contact their tutor or senior teacher as required.
Our links with parents are strengthened through:
• Home-School books (when requested)
• Pencalenick Post half termly newsletter
• Letters home (satchel post or Royal Mail)
• School Website
• Parent Workshops
• Parent Open Evenings (KS3/KS4)
• Annual Reviews
• Friends of Pencalenick (Parent and Friends Association)
• Social events such as ‘Strawberry Fayre', ‘Jazz in the Park' and ‘Christmas Carolaire'.
• Parent questionnaires
We hope you find the attached links useful and please feedback any ideas as to how we can improve our communication with you.
