Pencalenick Students at their Pop Up shop at Tesco’s Truro December 2017

I visited Tesco’s this morning and was proud to observe Pencalenick students selling various Christmas items made at the school.

Although they were in the coldest place possible (the external entrance) they were in high spirits and enjoying their sales.

I thought they were very professional and the items that they had made for this sale where very well made and they had a very well-presented stall.

I would to thank the students and helpers for their efforts and Tesco’s for allowing this to happen.

Well done to all involved

Welcome to our school

Together Everyone Achieves More
We provide special education for 120 pupils from Year 5 to Year 11 who have been identified through their Education Health Care Plan as being in need of a specialist provision due to their complex learning difficulties, associated anxieties and social needs. Our catchment area is the whole of Cornwall. We are able to offer weekly or short-term boarding places; a feature of our school that extends the range of our education programmes.

We are proud to be a member of the Special Partnership Trust, an ambitious and inspiring collaboration of specialist provision in Cornwall, with a focus on excellence in learning for everyone. We are formed to ensure that every child, irrespective of need or location, gets the best learning opportunities possible. We believe in providing challenge and support in equal measure to our pupils, nurturing the talents and skills of all learners.
