During year 10 and 11, pupils join in with our Enterprise group, known as the “Crafty Elves”.
Pupils learn to work as a team to make good quality items to be sold at a profit.
Profits are then used to buy more resources.
We have made cards, bath bombsChristmas decorations and have held competitions for pupils to design a school tea towel and labels for Christmas puddings, which we then marketed and sold. We have sold our products at the Pencalenick Strawberry Fayre, Chaos Café and our most recent success was being able to represent the school at Truro Tesco’s at Christmas 2017 selling our festive creations.
This whole encompasses a big part of growing up and gaining independence of character and behaviour towards others by conducting oneself within local community projects and being seen as a school ambassador.
