Pencalenick PE, Sport and Swimming Strategy 2026–27

Purpose: to increase pupils’ access to enjoyable, accessible physical activity; develop movement, confidence and social skills; and help pupils find activities they can continue beyond school.

This plan has been checked against the latest DfE PE and Sport Premium guidance published in June 2026 and the current published conditions of grant (2025-26). The premium is for additional and sustainable improvements that build capacity and add to PE, sport and physical activity for eligible primary aged pupils. As the 2026-27 conditions of grant have not yet been published, the school will complete a final compliance check against those conditions before committing expenditure.
