A day out on the water at Mylor

Wednesdays in the Autumn

Letter coming home today

With the help of the Roseland Sailing Trust we have the opportunity to spend the day on the water with the Mylor Sailing School for some Powerboating and Sailing. The sailing is run by professional providers who have both accessible power and sailing boats and the groups will be accompanied Pencalenick staff at all times.

29th September – Lanhydrock – JL

6th October – Trelissick - KP

13th October – Trebah - RS

20th October – Heligan - SV

3rd November – Pencarrow - SL

10th November – Port Quinn/Towan – AT/CB

17th November – Eden - CV

24th November – Caerhays - VH

These are ‘dry’ boats however pupils attending the days will need to wear appropriate warm clothing ie. Track suit or sports/walking type wear with trainers/walking shoes and a waterproof coat (hat and gloves if it looks cold).  The sailing school will provide all the safety equipment and any waterproof top clothing needed to go out on the water.

Pupils will need to bring a packed lunch unless they receive free school meals when the school will provide the lunch.  We will be back at school before the end of the day for transport home or boarding.

If you would like your child to attend the day, then please return the attached sheet to the office as soon as possible.  If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me or your child’s tutor team.

Best wishes,
