Safeguarding
Safeguarding pupils is a fundamental aspect of our practise at Pencalenick School and our 4 ARBs and is very much a whole school responsibility. All staff receive regular training with regard to child protection and safeguarding which enables us to deal both sensitively and appropriately with any issues that arise.
We are committed to safer recruitment of staff and a number of senior staff have attended training in Safer Recruitment procedures. All staff employed are required to have DBS clearance prior to commencing employment.
